Dr. Mulherin grew up in Moline, Illinois. He graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and music. He completed medical school at Loyola University in Chicago, and an internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at Indiana University. Dr. Mulherin is Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He is a member of the AMA, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.

Absolutely perfect! My appointment was at 9a and at 9a they called me back for some lab. Only took a few minutes. They walked me to the room where Dr. Mullein would see me and review the lab results. Normally I wait anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 to see the doctor. Yesterday I was in and out of Dr. Mulherin's in less than one hour!!!. Very prompt and professional. The "check out " associate was also very knowledgeable and prompt. Much much appreciated.
